Many Saudi expatriates have a lot of confusion regarding the valid Iqama for family visit visa. Sometimes, valid Iqama professions don’t get visa approval and in some cases expatriates with lower Iqama professions get visit visa approval.

These Iqama professions are also known as the benefited professions since all the eligible professions benefit the employee in the sense that they can bring their families over. Sometimes even lower Iqama professions (like driver, maid, laborer, domestic visa etc.) can also apply and try. Sometimes they do get approved. However your sponsor applying for your family visit visa or you applying the same with somebody else’s Iqama profession are illegal and can be found out during regular jawazat raids.
